Falta Gsc.wildcat

Tengo mi iPad con iOS 4.2.1 y jailbreak hecho pero en Cydia al intentar instalar algunas apps me dice que falta Gsc.wilcast. Por ejemplo FullForce y Yourtube HD

Hola, he leido tu pregunta, con que haz hecho el jailbreak? Es raro, lo haz solucionado ya?

Existe una versión de Redsnow que salió el 23 del presente, es muy inestable aún, yo actualicé un iPod Touch a la versión 4.2.1 con este JailBreak y está trabajando bien, sin embargo batallé para hacerlo, no me he animado a hacerlo al Ipad e iPhone. Prefiero esperarme a que salga una versión más estable y fácil de hacer.

Yo encontré un truco en una pagina gringa, para que te deje instalar lo que te da error del gsc.wildcat:

Abre iFile, si no lo tienes instalalo desde cydia, posteriormente ve a esta ruta /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app, abres el archivo “K48AP.plist”, con el editor incluido en iFile , tienes que agregar una entrada que se llame wildcat como se muestra en la imagen:

Asegurate de hacerlo correctamente, y guardas el archivo de nuevo, solo resta reiniciar, completamente el ipad, no reespring, REINICIAR, y así si te dejará instalar.

Many iPad users are having problems with installing FullForce onto their devices in Cydia, where they’ll get some sort of “gsc.wildcat” dependency error. Luckily, I was able to figure out how to get around this (my iPad’s running iOS 4.2.1, jailbroken of course), as I haven’t been able to find any sort of fix online. This fix is VERY easy and VERY quick.

So, open up Cydia on your jailbroken iPad, and install iFile (if you don’t already have it). Next, open iFile, and navigate to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app, and open “K48AP.plist” using iFile’s property list viewer/editor. Look at the screenshot below, and add a new key called “wildcat”, and make it true. Save the file, reboot your device, and try the install again.

There you have it! A quick and simple fix to a problem that oh-so many people seem to be having.

ALSO! Double check to make sure you have the same exact formatting. Failing to do so will make the .plist file useless and your device probably won’t boot (but you should be able to fix it without a restore thanks to afc2 filesystem access). You may also want to try using a property list editor on your computer to make the appropriate changes.
